Kellie Martin, DVM Emergency Clinician
Dr. Martin hails originally from Conyers, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. She attended the University of Georgia for both her undergraduate (BS Biology) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees.
She started her veterinary career as an equine and mixed animal ambulatory veterinarian in beautiful northern Virginia. She then transitioned to small animal general practice and practiced in both Virginia and Florida for the next decade.
Ten years ago, Dr. Martin decided to take on the new challenge of emergency medicine. She was a member of the emergency and critical care team at South Carolina Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Care in Columbia, South Carolina for the last 10 years. She found emergency medicine was her passion and looked to continue her career in that direction.
Dr. Martin brings her emergency experience and passion to our team here at AESC as our Emergency Clinician. She is excited to be a part of our wonderful team as we grow and expand to better serve our patients and community.
Dr. Martin loves Orangetheory fitness, running and all things true crime. She is a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan! She lives in Chattanooga with her husband, Jeff, three dogs (Lily, Wallis and Henry), four cats (Linus, Pig-Pen, Winnie and Victoria), and two chinchillas (Mia and Lilly).
