Dr. Katherine Neal, originally from Beaufort, South Carolina, is a highly accomplished veterinarian with a strong academic background. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Neal's commitment to excellence led her to complete a rigorous small animal medicine and surgery internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists (BluePearl Atlanta) and a surgical residency at Mississippi State University. She is a published researcher with a diverse portfolio, including work in orthopedic fracture fixation, angular limb deformities, and thyroid neoplasia.
Specializing in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Neal's particular interests lie in fracture fixation, cranial cruciate ligament injuries, thoracic surgery, and surgical oncology.
