CPR Class for Service Dogs

On Saturday, April 25th, AESC had a special opportunity to give back to it’s local law enforcement and working K9s. Our hospital opened it’s doors for a CPR course designed around active K9 units and their handlers. The course would provide key life stabilizing techniques for on the job hazards the teams could encounter.

F. Shane Brasfield owner of canine S.O.S was so thankful for the opportunity: “Thank you so much for making us feel welcome… We took away some great facts and real life tips… It was a great experience”.

To show our appreciation, AESC purchased and donated 20 Alcott First Aid Emergency Kits for K9 teams. A portion of the proceeds would also go on to support the nationally recognized non-profit group Dogs on Deployment, who provide temporary housing for militarily pets while they are deployed or have other service commitments.

AESC looks forwarding to providing more educational seminars to it’s community and the people that help to serve and protect it.
