Katrina Stewart, DVM Residency trained in Internal Medicine
Dr. Katrina Stewart grew up in Australia, completing an advanced science degree at the University of Wollongong followed by two years working in an embryology laboratory in Sydney. She obtained her veterinary degree at the University of Sydney and, following graduation, worked in the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland, in a rural, mixed practice for two years; here, she worked with a variety of native animals, including a stint at the local bat hospital.
Dr. Stewart went on to pursue a year long, rotating internship at Mississippi State University, followed by a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Purdue University. She enjoys all areas of Internal Medicine and, when not treating her patients, enjoys being outdoors, baking, crocheting, and swimming.
Dr. Stewart believes working with animals is a privilege and enjoys building lasting relationships with pet parents and their special family members. She looks forward to meeting you.
